The Corona crisis continues to have a firm grip on us and we are in another lockdown that is intensifying weekly. The prospects for “normal” times are still not foreseeable. For the current year, we will therefore strengthen our online courses and especially our portfolio coaching.
In portfolio coaching, we work with just one person or in small groups, depending on the possibilities. This worked very well last year and we made a great success with the participants. We will put the new courses online by the beginning of February.
2020 developed without notice into a very difficult year, not only for us as an art school, but very sustainably for the entire cultural sector in Berlin. Our face-to-face courses had to be shifted to online courses because of the Corona crisis. Only the portfolio coaching could take place as usual. We hope that we will be able to offer portfolio courses as usual again next year and wish all interested parties and former participants all the best. Stay healthy!
After a first successful drawing workshop on the theme of figure, we will be holding a drawing workshop for the second time on August 2nd at the invitation of the Palais Populaire. This time it is about the current exhibition of CHRISTO and JEANNE-CLAUDE. If you want to be part of the workshop you can register here
Our next information day will take place on 11th July. We will inform you about our new semesters starting in September, show you examples of good and successful portfolios and answer your questions. There is no need to register, all interested people can simply come and visit us. For those who come from outside Berlin and would like to attend, but are unable to travel, an join us online.
Location: Von Erlenbach Art School, Nostitzstraße 40, 10961 Berlin
After the museums and galleries have reopened in May, we are looking forward to exhibitions that we have long been planning to see. One of them is the exhibition of one of the most famous sculptors in Great Britain, but who has not been shown much in Germany and whose work is therefore little known.
We are very curious what to expect.
